About
Hello, my name is Marcus Andreas.
Especially when it comes to future topics such as climate and sustainability, I like to inspire people to work together. Let’s make an impact!
Studying education at the LMU Munich, I analysed visual ways of working together in complex systems. Later, I completed a doctorate in ethnology on an ecovillage and its positioning in society. Who can best contribute what and how? I further explored questions of this kind at Munich’s Rachel Carson Center, the UC Berkeley and the University of Utrecht.
In 2014, I went to Berlin for the Federal Ministry for the Environment’s ‘Climate Protection Dialogue’, which was managed by adelphi. During my five years there, I learnt a lot from Dr Minu Hemmati about multi-stakeholder processes and, as Senior Project Manager, led adelphi‘s local climate action department. With my team, I initiated the first nationwide climate projects for disctrict and counties.
2019 marked the change: as Dr Marcus Andreas – Process Support for Sustainability, I now support my clients with expertise, experience and engagement. I’ve been living and working in Cologne since 2023 – and I’m happy to come to you from there!
