About

Welcome! My name is Marcus Andreas.

How can we achieve good things in a world in turmoil? I will be happy to support you! You can find out more about me and my colleagues on this page.

Studying education at the LMU Munich, I researched complex systems; as an anthropologist, I wrote my Ph.D. thesis on an ecovillage. My guiding question was and is: How do we position ourselves in the face of grand challenges such as climate change?

Further stations were Munich’s Rachel Carson Center, as well as short stays at UC Berkeley and the University of Utrecht. I continue to learn, e.g. recently on Cooperative Urban and Regional Development at the University of Vienna.

In 2014, I moved to Berlin, where I learnt my project and moderation skills. In the Climate Dialogue of the Federal Ministry for the Environment, we successfully built bridges in multi-level governance.

As Senior Project Manager at adelphi, I managed and developed the area of local climate protection. With a great team, I initiated the first nationwide climate projects for counties and districts in climate action.

After five years of national and international project work, I started my own business in 2019. As Marcus Andreas · Process Support for Sustainability, I work for organisations that respond to complex issues with attitude and responsibility.

I support you with experience and expertise, depth and humour, in addition to the methodological and process expertise. I’ve been living and working in Cologne since 2023 – happy to come to you from there!
